I will overwhelm 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's bout.
Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

However, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
